Watch the clip below before you read on.
A young woman explains, calmly and with the confidence you only have when you've never been contradicted, that the unborn child is a parasite.
Not as an angry exaggeration in a heated discussion. But as a definition. Something she has learned somewhere, and which no one around her has found it necessary to stop. But on the contrary confirmed her belief in, until it has become a Truth and a Story she lives inside that must not be disputed - and woe to those who do.
The woman opposite her tries, though. She looks like one of those the media likes to warn us about these days, doesn't she?
She points out the obvious, that a parasite is a foreign organism, that the mother's body is literally built to carry the child, to create and carry life, that what is the purpose of a place cannot be an intruder in it.
She is interrupted, mocked and told to go back to school. By her, who just called a child a parasite.
It is so dark that I can almost not stand being in myself when I look at it. What is this? Masked Evil?
For notice what is happening here.
This is not a discussion about abortion. This is something deeper. This is a language that is moving a Human Being out of the category Human Being. And that language has a history. Every single time a group was to be pushed out of the moral circle, it began in the same place - with a word that made them into something other than us.
Vermin. Burden. Rats. Virus. Parasite. The word always comes first. The action always comes after. This is not a theory, this is the most well-documented mechanism in the darkest chapters of the twentieth century.
Words we incidentally see taken up again in other places right now, but that is another post, which you will have to wait for.
While the unborn child in the clip is redefined as 'organism', something parallel happens with the born. Another place in the USA a mother takes the lives of her three small children. Calculated. One after the other. With an exercise band. And within a few days an entire movement finds its way to the conclusion that sympathy should lie with her, and blame with her husband.
Not with the one who did it. With the one who came home to it and had to find his three children murdered in the basement. One can think everything about birth psychosis, about a health system that fails, about medication that should have been stopped, and much of it will be right. But when even the most extreme action can no longer place responsibility where it happened, then it is no longer compassion. Then it is a tribe, women, protecting their own, no matter what, however repulsive or distorted it may be.
And this is where I will say, and which I believe increasingly many men think without saying it out loud, and which men through historical memory know better than anyone else -
Tribes breed tribes.
When one side closes itself enough around its own, the other closes itself too. Not because it wants to, but because in the end it has nowhere else to stand.
The quiet reasonable majority of women, who can perfectly well see that this is madness, pays a price for its silence that it will not itself get to determine the size of. For if the reasonable women do not say the obvious, it will be the unreasonable ones who get to define what was said.
And when they now do not, for all the reasons they may have, in order not to stand up for the Human Child - then let me say the obvious.
LOUDLY and UNAMBIGUOUSLY.
A child is not a parasite. Full stop.
A mother who kills her children is responsible for it, no matter how much the system around her also failed.
And a human being does not cease to be a Human Being because it is small, dependent or inconvenient. Neither before birth nor after.
That is it.
If no women will stand firm on that, for both the unborn and the born child, then I will.
For the one who can call a child a parasite has not said anything about the child.
Only about themselves.
I could hope that many women - for I love women - would begin to speak clearly against the insane course the world is on.
