Try to imagine - as an adult - having to sit there and say...
"Well yes, I got confused about it. Men can't be women, of course... and vice versa. I don't know how I got that wrong."
It's so insane and pathetic that it's hard both to grasp and put into words.
But let me try anyway, because that is nevertheless precisely what happened the other day in England when journalist Camilla Tominey asked Labour health minister James Murray -
"Do you think a woman can have a penis? You did before?"
Murray: "No, I don't."
Tominey: "So you've changed your mind?"
Murray: "Yes."
Tominey: "Why?"
And then he sits there stammering and clearing his throat.
"I... uhhmm.. I've thought about... the issue... in recent years."
The issue!?
Tominey's - who resembles an actual journalist - response hits the mark.
"I mean. You're well-educated. How on earth could you ever believe that a woman can have a penis?"
He has no answer.
Because there isn't one!
Shall I repeat that?
And this is worth noting here.
This is not some random backbench politician. This is the man responsible for all of NHS - for puberty blocker policy, women's health and protection of children. He spent years believing - or pretending to believe - that biological sex is fluid. Imagine that. Only now, when the Cass report, the courts and public opinion have made the position politically toxic, has he suddenly "changed his mind".
It's incidentally an issue that ALL leading politicians questioned in Denmark - including the prime minister.... I'll repeat that INCLUDING THE COUNTRY'S PRIME MINISTER!?? - except for a single conservative - could not answer cleanly when asked about it two-three years ago.
"Uhhh well... sex you say... change it? How many there are??.. well, I don't know anything about that.. I'm not a biologist...".
Back to England. Think about the damage done while he believed sex was fluid and could be freely changed. Confused children sent into hormone treatment and surgery. Women's rights gutted. Female inmates and athletes forced to share spaces with biological men.
And meanwhile the adult gender clinics still sit on the data they refused to hand over to the Cass investigation.
J.K. Rowling points out that precisely Murray as health minister could force them to release the numbers - so we could finally get insight into how much good the interventions actually do long-term, without experimenting on children too young to give meaningful consent. But does he do it? And if not, why not? And WHY won't they release them in the first place? Hello? Is there not a single journalist left in the western world!??
Read in addition the testimonies from the growing number of detransitioners. Many of them extremely vulnerable - autists, children in care, abuse victims, homosexual youth from families who didn't accept them. Irreparably damaged - destroyed fertility, endless medical complications, deep psychological scars.
It's a medical scandal of epic proportions. And people with power are still too scared of activists and lobby groups with multicoloured hair and a penchant for communism to stop the madness.
Basic biology should never have been up for debate.
Because it's the CHILDREN being sacrificed on ideology's and cowardice's altar.
Stop it then.
