I can see that several have woken to a disquiet - some to outright indignation - over the fact that Europe will not help the USA secure and keep the Strait of Hormuz open.
If that's you.
Then allow me to help you remove every last one of your illusions.
You should NOT read on, unless you want to go all the way to the bone.
I repeat for safety's sake - if you're not ready to take it to the root - stop here.
But if you'd like some light thrown into the face - then continue. But it's at your own risk.
This is not a misunderstanding.
It is not a mistake.
And it is not temporary.
It is consequence.
But - perhaps - not in the sense you think.
The reason you are indignant is because you still believe you live in the order of Western civilisation.
You do not.
That order was built on three pillars -
Christianity.
Greek philosophy.
Roman law.
That was what created our institutions, our freedom, and our ability to act together.
The EU has - over decades - deliberately - moved away from this.
Not by accident.
But by choice.
What remains is a technocratic neoliberal system, where decisions are made without civilisational grounding, but legitimised through moral language borrowed from Marxist ideas about guilt, equality, and redistribution.
It is NOT the same system.
And therefore we no longer act as the same people. With Duty. Responsibility. Brotherhood. One for all, all for one.
There is ONLY one explanation that makes sense.
When the EU hesitates to support the USA in a strategic lifeline like the Strait of Hormuz, it is not because the situation is unclear.
It is because we no longer stand in the same place.
And here is the point no one will say aloud - but which is the truth, and which is what we are betraying -
The USA is not just an ally.
The USA is our own.
It is Europe's sons and daughters who built it. Same heritage. Same foundation. Same civilisation.
When they act - it is us acting further.
When they call - it is us being called.
And when we hesitate now, it is not neutrality.
It is a civilisational break.
And a betrayal of our own.
Therefore.
This is not the beginning of something.
It is the result of something that has already happened.
The split is here.
It will not disappear.
It will become clearer.
And the world organises itself accordingly.
So what happens from here?
The Islamic world has not managed to create societies that Western populations will live in. Even though they are quite obviously waiting to take over. In many ways, large parts of Europe are already perceived as theirs - lost - because they have already sat upon it. But Europe will not - and if you push it, it ends in conflict. Everyone knows this.
That is a sober observation, not an opinion.
So we are left with one actor that has coherence, direction, power, economy and military might enough -
China.
Not because it is better.
But because it is unified.
In a world without Christianity, Greek philosophy and Roman law where the concepts do not exist - the world does not reward the good, the beautiful and the true.
It rewards what works.
And that is where we are.
So you have a choice, if you want to preserve your understanding of reality.
Keep believing that we are still what we were. And watch how decisions will increasingly make no sense.
Or recognise that we have left the Western civilisational model - and now live with the consequence.
And if you still believe that this can be reversed with a few adjustments and political compromises, a little election here and there, then you have not understood what has happened.
You cannot preserve a civilisation you no longer believe in.
It dissolves.
Quietly at first.
Then suddenly.
❤️🔥🪽
Well. But thus uplifted.
Good weekend to you.
It will be alright. Remember that. @
Even for those of us who will forever be Cowboy in the Heart 🔥
