Allow me to be your translator.
In the era's bullshit lingo.
"A metaphor about EQUITY",
Or - "Disguised Communism"..
You've spent years in the gym. Lifted weights. Eaten properly. Slept properly. Trained with purpose.
You've built strength throughout your body, which now radiates health and vitality.
Not through luck - but through will.
Through mental forces you've built, shaped and tried to bring under control inside.
Focus. Effort. Delayed gratification.
Overcoming pain. Will. Dedication. Drive.
Now imagine that the state could force you to surrender, say, half your muscle mass - so it can be given to someone who's never trained. Or never arranged their life and done what it takes to build muscle mass and health.
One morning while you're training, a Municipal Lady appears and says -
"You know what - we actually think it's so unfair that you have more and better results than everyone else. So we've decided to do something about it - because it's a shame for all those who don't have as much as you... And it also looks completely wrong in our Excel sheets and statistics - they MUST show that EVERYONE has EQUAL amounts - so that really needs to be corrected and redistributed - and preferably rather quickly!"
That's what they call Equity.
Or - "Modern Justice".

But what does "Equity" actually mean?
Many think it means we should all have EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES - but that's not what it means.
Because that's called EQUALITY.
And practically everyone - with a brain installed - agrees that's a good idea.
No. EQUITY means everyone should have the SAME OUTCOME.
Regardless of EFFORT.
Regardless of CHOICE.
Regardless of ABILITY.
And to achieve this - you can probably figure out that someone - it's usually "those who decide" - the State, the Municipality, the Company, the Party, etc. - must intervene.
And Adjust. And force.
Take from some - and give to others.
Until everyone has the same amount.
"But uhh... that's not fair!?" you might object.
Noooo, but that's the new thing.
Everyone MUST have EQUAL AMOUNTS - regardless of how much value they deliver.
Karen from HR says so herself.
And she's been to some tremendously advanced and fancy courses in Copenhagen, with all sorts of Diversity and Inclusion and such difficult words!

HOW did this nonsense enter our society!?
You must understand that "Equity" isn't a new concept - it's an old boring hack. Just written in new language.
It's actually Communism's core idea.
Yes, those who bankrupted all of Eastern Europe and together with the Chinese killed 90 million people last century - a good chunk through labor camps and famine. Yes yes, the nice guys.
Their good idea.
The idea is - that you can create justice by leveling everything until everyone has the same - regardless of what they do, make or contribute with...
In the old days it came with mutilating revolutionary rhetoric and armed conflicts. Now it comes disguised in proper words, PowerPoints and HR departments.
Today they don't say "class struggle". The rich against the poor. Because we've become too wealthy to start a revolution over money.
Today they say instead "diversity, equity & inclusion". And speak about oppressors and oppressed. Privileged and unprivileged - and want to start a revolution in society over inequality in a long series of other categories.
They simply moved focus somewhere else that could equally split people - who often haven't thought very deeply about what justice actually is.
But the message is the same.
If some have more than others - then something must be wrong.
And something MUST be done about it.
Because that can't be fair!!?
Another way to start a revolution in a society.
And yes. It's still about tearing down what some have built - to make everyone equal in the ruins.
And the examples are many.
Schools -
Where they want grades abolished or leveled, because not all students perform equally well - regardless of effort. Focus shifts from learning to outcome equality.
Universities -
Where admission quotas are regulated not by ability but by gender, race or background - so they can "balance the statistics".
Companies -
Positions filled based on diversity criteria rather than qualifications. Measured on outcomes of identity markers like gender, ethnicity, sexuality - not competence.
Art and culture -
Funds and support distributed not based on quality, but on identity. "Representation" trumps talent.
Healthcare -
Several places now talk about "health equity", where patients should be prioritized differently to achieve equal "health outcomes" - rather than treating based on need and severity.
Wages and taxes -
Progressive taxation and universal benefits are no longer tools for help - but to ensure everyone ends up in the same place economically.
Reality is somewhat different, however.
And here we return to the example from the beginning.
Let's pretend you actually could take the muscles and give them to others.
In the real world, they might be able to receive them. But they wouldn't be able to keep them.
Because you can't transfer the knowledge, the habits, the discipline and the mindset that built them - and what it takes to preserve them. They would shrink away over a few months and disappear.
And the same applies to economy and businesses, for example.
You can take the money... but you can't transfer what created it.
In other words.
You can steal the fruit.
But you don't get the roots.
And without roots everything withers!
That's why EQUITY NEVER WORKS in practice.
It SOUNDS AND FEELS (perhaps) like justice - but it's really just systematized envy disguised as morality.
It doesn't create strength.
It destroys it.

But look at Holodomor. Look at Zimbabwe. Look at Venezuela.
There they stole the muscles - but couldn't lift the weight themselves.
TRUE JUSTICE - the understanding we built of this concept in the Western world - requires something completely different.
Freedom. Responsibility. Opportunities.
And the COURAGE to let those who WILL and CAN, build.
Because only the one who builds something themselves - can bear it.
Equity ends in collapse.
Sooner or later.
So don't jump on it - and give it your vote.
Build yourself!
And keep the equal-distribution-idiots - regardless of which lingo they hide behind - out of all schools, departments, municipalities, institutions and state.
