I grew up among trees.
They stood like giants around my home, along fields, plantations and lakes. I climbed them, built shelters in their crowns, swung from their branches. I ate fruit from them, sat and watched the sun set over the lake, and shared secret conversations with my friends on their most solid branches - there, where only boys' hearts dare be completely open.
But - I never SAW a tree back then.
Even though I was among them every single day.
Not really.
Only much later in my life, through an experience I can best call mystical, did a tree open itself to me. Suddenly it stood there in all its might and incomprehensible beauty - as if stepped into the world anew. My eyes had seen it a thousand times before, but now it was not merely bark and leaves. It stood right before me as a living mystery.
I saw - or rather experienced - in a split second the full pattern. From the small, vulnerable seed to a 50-meter force field, strong and protective, and carried by a love so powerful that it surged forth into reality and stretched both as deep down into the earth and as high toward heaven as it could.
I saw it, understood it, as if the tree itself spoke to me. An experience and connection that cannot be explained with words.
And since then, I - and trees - have never been the same.
For the tree is more than tree. It is a Truth. A mirror for man and for society. A living image of life's own secret.
I saw in a split second - which seemed to last forever - how a thousand seeds fall to the ground. One germinates. One grows. One reaches maturity. One unfolds its crown toward the sun. One sends roots deep into the earth, seeks water, minerals, nourishment. All this only to express what it is created to be - life. For itself. And for the rest of nature. A perfect symbiosis.
And I saw how I can describe this process, yes. That I can draw models, measure and analyze. But I cannot - no one can - predict which seed will germinate. No one can predict where and how the branches will grow, how many leaves will unfold, or what shape the crown will take. For the life in the tree lives freely.
How it turns out is a secret that only life itself knows. A pattern so advanced, with so many factors, that no one can fully describe or understand it.
And.
The same applies to us humans.
I saw how, when I am allowed to be free - when I receive nourishment for my inner process. When I - like the tree - get the right elements: sun, water, soil, wind. When I set roots and stretch toward heaven. When life is allowed to flow unhindered through me. Then I unfold as I am created to be - unique, unpredictable, radiant.
Free. Wired to the same current that runs through the tree.
And this is where I want to direct attention to the struggle everyone feels in these years.
For the system, the technocracy, the godless order, cannot tolerate this unpredictability. It cannot tolerate free life, that which cannot be controlled and predicted.
So it promises us "security" - if only we conform. It lures us into frameworks, rules, schedules. It insists on being able to plan our lives from cradle to grave. It wants us to forget that we are living beings, mysteries, sparks of God. Created. Cut from an essence that grows most beautifully - when we are free.
And therefore it gradually attempts to shape and mold us into perfect little robots. Small nuts and cogs in the Machine. Who do as we should. So one can plan.
But no system can ever predict a human being's outcome. No algorithm can capture life's rhythm. For life does not belong to the Machine - it belongs to something much greater. God.
I have myself felt how they try to unlearn us from believing in life's patterns. And felt that when we lose the ability to see the sacred in ourselves, we become vulnerable. Easy to control. Ready to trade freedom for the system's false security.
Consider it.
What we see happening now. Digital identities, chips, systems that reach past your private life and right into your spirit. All disguised as 'necessity', as 'convenience', as 'care'.
Installations that can track, surveil, regulate and control you - within a few years right down to your breath. So you don't emit too much CO2 due to movement.
They create systems that function as an admission ticket to - Life.
"Do as we say - then you have access."
For in reality it's about one thing - control. To be able to predict the future - no matter what it costs. Even if it's the most sacred thing in you - and in me.
And I understand the desire for it well. For if only the models could predict the economy, the climate, disease, man himself. Then we could see God's plan. But they cannot. And they never will.
It is a plan to which we as Humans must surrender. In trust and faith that it means us well, if we arrange and design our lives in harmony with life's patterns.
All I need is to look at nature to understand this, where it stands clear.
Nowhere in it exists a totalitarian power that suppresses life's unfolding. No mechanism in the forest's order that hinders growth. Balance arises because each tree, each leaf, each flower is allowed to be itself. Express what is hidden deepest within it.
And therefore nature is the only truly sustainable system we know.
What we are called to mirror, if we want to live as humans who pull upward - toward truth, freedom and love.
For we are part of the natural system. We are created in the same way. Not to live as small cogs, but as wild trees. Not to fear our freedom, but to flourish in it.
Every day since that day, I have stood before a tree, and its might reminds me of what I myself am. A mystery, carried by the same spirit, driven by the same hidden force.
Reminds myself that Man - like the Tree - is created to live freely, rooted in truth and stretching toward heaven.
And here, in this pattern, the simple but all-encompassing law is revealed -
That without truth we wither.
That without freedom we bend.
That without love we die.
Truth, freedom and love are not merely ideals - they are Life's Pulse itself. They beat in the Tree. They beat in the forest. They beat in the universe's rhythm. They beat in my own heart.
And I know that as long as we dare let our lives follow that rhythm, we will never be or become slaves of the Machine.
We will be alive.
We will be true.
We will be free.
We will be love.

Good weekend, friends.
And for good measure -
I have not become a tree-hugger. I do not mean we should never fell or use trees. On the contrary. We should use them. That is one of the reasons they are here. Like everything else in nature, they have a place, a purpose, a meaning. Being able to see the tree's sacredness does not exempt us from using it - it only obliges us to use it with respect.
