I believe that.
Her answer is something so Danish as - a course.
A mandatory democracy course for preachers, which must now be tightened, because it has been revealed that one can complete it without understanding the instruction. You showed up, you got your stamp, you went home.
But notice what she has thereby discovered without naming it. She has discovered that you can take a man, put him on the school bench, teach him about equality and women's rights to freedom, issue a certificate - and that none of it reaches in. Not because he is slow. But because he did not come as an empty vessel waiting to be filled up with Danish values. On the contrary, he came with an answer that was already complete.
He came to the instruction with a revelation.
And that is where the recognition for anyone who must make decisions going forward must begin - not where Ida lets it end.
The divorce document from Odense is not a mistake in the system it comes from. Within its own order, it is completely correct. It is the Law, applied conscientiously by a man who, according to his own conviction, would transgress against God by making it milder.
Here with us, we see an assault.
He sees obedience.
These are not two degrees of the same thing - these are two different civilizational models for, and answers to, what Man is, what the family is, what the law is, and where it comes from.
And one model now stands inside the other.
That is what creates the trouble.
Therefore the courses miss the mark, and therefore the tightenings will miss the mark in precisely the same way. For there lies an entry requirement to the office that comes before all the state's demands - one cannot become an imam if one recognizes the Municipality Lady's laws over God's. That is not an extreme position within the system - that is the very foundation beneath it.
The preacher, that is imam, who genuinely took the course to heart and placed Danish equality legislation over revelation would in the same movement have disqualified himself in his own congregation's eyes.
In other words, the state is looking for a man who cannot be found - an imam who has passed the course on the inside and places it as the highest Law over God. That is, Allah.
So one can sharpen the requirements, introduce exams, demand documentation of understanding - and one will get understanding. The men will understand splendidly. Their intelligence lacks nothing. They will be able to account for equality and democracy with the same precision with which they afterwards issue documents that abolish both.
For understanding was never the problem.
THE HIERARCHY is the problem.
When human rules and God's revelation point in different directions, the office has long since decided what yields - and it is not the revelation.
It has not been for 1,400 years. And it will probably not happen tomorrow because a municipality lady stands with an Excel spreadsheet that must be passed with the right checkmarks.
We can make rules and procedures and courses from here until the sun goes down forever.
The answer is still the same.
A public system does not rewrite a revelation.
So. Yes.
The problem is deeper.
And does not go away.
