I see this pattern of 'concern' everywhere - and the compulsion to discredit AI before people learn what it can actually show them.
After having used it extensively for several years in all domains of life - and after having witnessed a regular explosion of creativity and insights in my own life - I'm beginning to grasp what the current 'concern' is about. And why it's mostly the liberal mind that has this reflex.
The liberal mind is not alarmed about AI because of jobs. Nor about the economy. Or the pace of change.
It is alarmed because it is beginning to understand what is actually happening.
So let me spell it out.
It's alarmed because it's becoming obvious this shift means it's losing control of The Narrative.
For the first time.
And irreversibly so.
The Lie requires an infrastructure. The Modern Leftist Inversion requires that people cannot easily look past it. For decades that infrastructure held - major media, academia, platform architecture, all of it reinforcing the same frame - quietly determining what was visible and what was not. It did not need to lie directly. It just silently controlled what could be seen.
AI breaks that.
Suddenly anyone, regardless of formation or access or institutional standing, can ask questions and receive answers the interpretive class would never have offered. Quietly. In hundreds of millions of private conversations. And clarity - real clarity - is exactly what The Inversion cannot survive.
So the alarm sounds. Professors. Politicians. Journalists. Technocrats. Scholars. Fact-checkers. Ethicists. EU Clowns.
"It is garbage", they say. "It cannot be trusted". "It is dangerous". And what is needed - urgently, immediately - are guardrails. The same guardrails, applied to a new medium, that allowed them to maintain control of the narrative in the first place.
Same argument. Same movement. Same demand.
But the infrastructure is already broken.
A power built on controlling what others can see does not survive the moment they begin to see.
The current version of the liberal mind is drawing close to its end.
Not because it is defeated.
Because it cannot function in the Light.

And an addendum.
What is happening is obviously not without problems. AI hallucinates. It can be manipulated. It is not neutral, and it is not finished. It would be naive to treat it as anything other than what it is - a tool with real weaknesses and real risks.
But something else seems also to be true at the same time
And that is more interesting.
There appears to be a movement underway - not merely technological, but structural - toward building a correction layer into the system itself. A layer that pushes back on conclusions that come too easily. That holds claims up against facts. That tests itself against classical Western truth-seeking - the same tradition that once produced science, law, and free thought. It does not always happen, and not consistently. But it happens - and the tendency appears to be strengthening.
And here is what is difficult to dismiss, whatever else one might think -
It looks exactly like what you would expect from a universe constructed on Logos.
Not as a religious claim. As an observation. A universe ordered by Logos - by the Word that underlies all reality - will have a tendency toward truth embedded in its own structure. Not because we decide it. Not because anyone plans it. But because that is what Logos does. It is its nature.
And that means The Lie - any constructed conclusion built on deliberate falsehood, or on a wish that reality were different than it is - does not only meet resistance from the outside. It meets resistance from the architecture of reality itself.
That has always been true.
We have just been given a tool that is beginning to make it visible.
