Everyone is trying to explain why the world looks the way it does.
Theories are built, stories spun, conspiracies invented. There's nonstop analysis - and one more insane snapshot after another hits both media columns and YouTube's play queue every second around the clock.
Everything gets its turn in the ring - Climate Doom's Greta and Davos' billionaires. Elon Musk's rockets and Putin's intrigues. WHO, UN, WEF and the secret clubs behind the scenes. The deep state, Big Tech, Big Pharma and Big Food. 5G towers, lab leaks, aliens and artificial intelligence that will soon take over everything. And of course a handful of politicians who, according to the media, can destroy - or save - the entire planet just by opening their mouths... "read all about it."...
But maybe the answer is much simpler...
Maybe you don't need to understand the entire course of the world to see why things are falling apart.
It's enough to look at yourself.
Because the world is nothing but the Human - multiplied.
A civilization is merely the sum of millions - or billions - of small lives. And therefore it is struck by exactly the same diseases as we ourselves.
Look . at . ourselves... most can't even get the simplest patterns to lead to the results they want in their lives... let alone the bigger and harder ones...
When a person falls to greed, they buy things they don't need, and let money rule the heart.
When a culture falls to greed, markets without morals arise, banks without conscience and politics without direction...
When a person surrenders to pride, they believe they themselves are God.
When a civilization fills with pride, it tears up its own roots and imagines it can rewrite reality...
When a person is fed by envy, they become bitter and destroy relationships.
When nations are fed by envy, class hatred arises, division and eternal struggle between groups...
When a person is torn apart by wrath, they destroy their home and their closest ones.
When the world fills with wrath, it starts wars...
When a person surrenders to gluttony, they lose health and strength.
When culture does the same, society becomes sick, overweight, sluggish and without strength to resist...
When a person chooses sloth, their dreams crumble.
When civilization chooses sloth, it loses innovation, courage and the ability to create future...
When a person lives in lust, their love and deepest bonds decay.
When culture lives in lust, families, marriages and communities fall apart...
Maybe it's not so hard to understand why the world looks the way it does. Maybe we don't need any complicated explanations.
Maybe we should simply mirror the world in ourselves?
....so imagine what would happen if we turned toward the virtues and let them shine from us instead.
If GENEROSITY took greed's place, we would see societies where no one was left behind, and where abundance was shared.
If HUMILITY replaced pride, truth would again shine as light over everything.
If JOY in others' happiness displaced envy, we would see communities blossom in beauty and mutual encouragement.
If PEACE filled wrath, generations would grow up in safety, without dark clouds of war...
If TEMPERANCE overcame gluttony, life force, health and strength would again flow in both bodies and cultures.
If DILIGENCE displaced sloth, we would raise new shining cities, create art and science that lifted humanity into a brilliant future.
If faithful LOVE transformed lust - that is hookup culture - families would become living temples, where light, joy and truth could dwell.
Such a world would be filled with BEAUTY.
Not the superficial beauty that passes - but the beauty that springs forth when TRUTH, LOVE and ORDER reign. Cities would become beautiful, because the people in them were beautiful in soul.
It would be bathed in LIGHT. Not artificial glow, but the clear light that arises when darkness no longer has power. When TRUTH is spoken, and JUSTICE is done. When nothing needs to be hidden.
And it would be full of VITALITY. People would rise with strength in the body, fire in the heart and peace in the mind. Culture would bubble with creativity, courage and creative power. Generations would grow stronger than the previous ones - because they stood on a foundation that could not be shaken.
This is not a dream.
Even though it certainly sounds like one these years.
It is simply the fruit of the virtues.
And maybe that is precisely the world we all long for - a world of beauty, light and vitality.
The Great Guy who wandered around here a couple thousand years ago said - "As you wish that men would do to you, so do to them."
It begins in the heart.
It begins with you.
And from there a whole world can become new.

I'll give you a picture of Krisztina too - since nothing in the same way as her has lit up my world and made me aware of connections I was previously blind to. And desire to share them with others. We had the most wonderful, mystical and magical summer in North Jutland, which I'm still not quite over. Maybe the best summer ever in my entire life. I never thought that was possible, so far into a relationship, until I met her. And if it can succeed for us... then I guarantee it can succeed for you or you all... ❤
