Try to imagine yourself - as an adult - having to sit there and say...
"Oh right, I made a mess of that. Men can't be women, obviously... and vice versa. I don't know how I got that wrong."
It's so insane and pathetic that it's difficult both to grasp and put into words.
But let me try anyway, because that's exactly what happened the other day in England when journalist Camilla Tominey asked Labour health minister James Murray -
"Do you think a woman can have a penis? You did think so previously?"
Murray: "No, I don't."
Tominey: "So you've changed your mind?"
Murray: "Yes."
Tominey: "Why?"
And there he sits, stammering and clearing his throat.
"I... uhhmm.. I've been thinking about... the subject... in recent years."
The subject!?
Tominey's response - who resembles an actual journalist - hits the mark.
"I mean. You're well-educated. How on earth could you ever believe a woman can have a penis?"
He has no answer.
Because there isn't one!
Should I repeat that?
And it's worth noting here.
This isn't some random rank-and-file politician. This is the man responsible for all of NHS - for puberty blocker policy, women's health and protection of children. He spent years believing - or pretending to believe - that biological sex is fluid. Imagine that. Only now, when the Cass report, the courts and public sentiment have made the position politically toxic, has he suddenly "changed his mind".
It's a subject, by the way, that ALL leading politicians questioned in Denmark - including the prime minister.... let me repeat that INCLUDING THE COUNTRY'S PRIME MINISTER!?? - except for a single conservative - couldn't answer cleanly when they were asked about it two-three years ago.
"Uhhh weeell... sex you say... change it? How many there are??.. well, I don't know anything about that.. I'm not a biologist...".
Back to England. Think about the damage done while he believed sex was fluid and could be freely changed. Confused children sent into hormone treatment and surgery. Women's rights hollowed out. Female inmates and athletes forced to share spaces with biological men.
And meanwhile the adult gender clinics still sit on the data they refused to hand over to the Cass inquiry.
J.K. Rowling points out that Murray as health minister could force them to release the numbers - so we could finally get insight into how much good the interventions actually do long-term, without experimenting on children who are far too young to give meaningful consent. But does he do it? And if not, why not? And WHY won't they release them in the first place? Hello? Is there not a single journalist left in the western world!??
Read in addition the testimonies from the growing number of detransitioners. Many of them extremely vulnerable - autistics, children in care, abuse victims, homosexual youth from families who wouldn't accept them. Irreparably damaged - destroyed fertility, endless medical complications, deep psychological scars.
This is a medical scandal of epic proportions. And people with power are still too afraid of activists and lobby groups with multicoloured hair and a penchant for communism to stop the madness.
Basic biology should never have been up for debate.
Because it's the CHILDREN being sacrificed on the altar of ideology and cowardice.
Stop it now.
