My profile is getting more and more visits and friend requests from people in the self-help, therapy, and theology industries.
I change my mind daily about what to think of it.
On the one hand, I've made considerable effort these past twenty-odd years to get down to where most people skip over when it comes to Man.
So.
"Of course they show up here, where on earth else would they show up?", I think.
But then I start thinking that maybe they're sitting there taking notes.
And are busy translating it all into a 6-week online course.
"From Hypnosis to Wholeness ™"
Module 3: Your inner scaffolding.
Module 5: Meet your Logos (without it getting awkward).
Early bird: 4,995 kr.
Workbook included.
And then there's the third possibility, which I probably should take more seriously.
That they're not coming to learn anything at all.
They're coming to observe.
Like visiting a nature reserve.
"Look, children. One last living specimen of a man who believes words mean something. He still writes in complete sentences. He uses the word "Truth" with a capital T. Without quotation marks at all.
Don't touch him. He doesn't bite, but he quotes."
Or the fourth, of course.
That the man has simply lost the plot, and that's why people follow along. Same reason you slow down past an accident in the opposite lane.
I honestly can't determine it myself.
Original or wrecked.
Reserve or curriculum.
The friend requests look completely identical.
But anyone who looks carefully around here will find something other than a curiosity.
Hope.
That the way forward is Light.
And that Home doesn't lie behind us - it lies ahead of us. Regardless of what we have to go through to get there.
A bit like when the 80s were best.
There'll be music for the journey soon.
I'm very fond of all of them - regardless of why you're here. I wish I could hit accept on every single one. Facebook won't let me.
Well then. Welcome, everyone.
The coffee's hot, and the notes are free.
Happy Friday.
