Someone wrote to me yesterday that I was ridiculous.
I know.
Look at me!??

With that said.
If you're disappointed by yesterday's election result, let's briefly remind each other how change actually happens.
It almost never happens through a parliamentary election.
Because people vote - broadly speaking - for what they've always voted for.
Because they - broadly speaking - are still the same today and tomorrow as they were yesterday.
And the structures surrounding the political system are so locked that the real movements are minimal. Adjustments can be made and delivered. 1-2% perhaps. But no fundamental shift in the configuration of the operating system we run society on.
What creates real change is something entirely different.
A shift in consciousness.
And here we move into a far more demanding landscape than slogans, campaigns, memes and signaling to demographics' longings and concerns.
Because a shift in consciousness comes from only one place - recognition.
And again.
Recognition comes from only one place - lived experience.
You cannot think your way to it.
You cannot vote your way to it.
You cannot give it to others.
Everyone must go through it.
And nothing in or about yesterday's election suggests that Danish consciousness has really moved significantly.
Broadly speaking, most people still live inside the same synthetic fabricated reality we've inhabited for decades, where we believe -
That the climate stands before collapse.
That multiculturalism can function.
That Trump is evil, and the EU is good.
That taxation is just.
That fees are necessary.
That windmills and solar panels will save us.
That fossil fuels are the central enemy.
That more welfare is the solution.
That the state is salvation.
That we can decide what's true ourselves - if only we lie long enough.
That the climate cost pyramid's nutrient-poor vegetarian mush leads to health.
And that increased medicine intake throughout existence is a completely natural part of life - just as uncontrollable weight gain and lack of energy is.
Insert the rest yourself that aligns with the programming running nonstop every day.
And it's not accidental.
That narrative is maintained - actively - by political systems, media and economic interests who all have something to lose if the Human begins to see clearly.
Because then the need for governance falls.
Administration.
Control.
Consumption.
Dependence.
And this is where the core lies -
Politics today is not designed to solve real problems and point forward.
It's designed to operate within what we can call the Narrative's Frame.
It doesn't respond to reality.
It responds to the narrative about reality.
And if the premise is, and it is in this time, that the human is weak, insecure and dependent - then all "solutions" will necessarily point toward more state, more governance, more security, more surveillance, more control.
Not because it's true.
But because it's logical - within that narrative.
That's why nothing happens, other than small adjustments. That's why the last many elections haven't led to any real change.
Only shifts in spreadsheets.
Redistribution.
Symbolic politics.
And occasional alms checks when the system starts to creak.
But the foundation itself stands untouched. And it will continue to. Until something changes in a completely different place.
Until the Human begins to see.
See what it is.
See why it's here.
See what it's actually capable of.
And see how much of its reality is actually told - not experienced. Or recognized.
Because that's exactly what one tries to prevent - these last decades with social mechanisms like -
Shaming.
Exposure.
Character attacks.
Labels.
Exclusion.
The silent pressure from the flock that whispers: "You probably ought to stay within the lines."
Not because anyone is necessarily evil - but because the system rewards conformity and punishes deviation.
So the one who begins to ask questions isn't met with curiosity and dialogue - but with ridicule and distancing.
And slowly one teaches the population -
This I must not think aloud.
This I must not say.
This I must not be.
And then one adjusts oneself.
Out of fear of falling outside.
That's how narratives are kept alive - by ensuring there's a price to leaving them.
But the moment a human does it anyway - despite the price, despite the looks, despite the resistance - something happens.
Not out there.
But inside.
And THAT'S WHERE CHANGE BEGINS.
Not in the ballot box.
But in consciousness.
...
That's why I write every day.
To myself. And to you.
Not to convince or win.
But to strike the small cracks in the picture that's been given us, until enough people begin to sense that it might not be the whole truth.
Because when that happens - when recognition begins to spread - when reality begins to seep in - then everything else changes afterward.
Regardless of who sits in power.
And that parliamentary election that comes in the wake of this shift.
That's the parliamentary election you're looking for - and longing for. Regardless of who you vote for.
